The Pendleton District Commission contains both a research
library and archival collection. Our archives and manuscripts
collections focus on the people and places of the Old Pendleton
District. The collections include correspondence, business
records, photographs, books, family bibles, scrapbooks and
personal items. Our artifact collections include textiles,
furniture and a variety of objects.

The Research Room and Special Collections is temporarily
located on the Pendleton District Agricultural Museum on
120 History Lane in Pendleton SC. The Research Room is open
Monday-Friday by appointment only. To make a Research Appointment,
