The Blue Ridge Arts Council and Historic Ballenger house have partnered to showcase area jewelers, potters, and textile artists for an "Art Affair at the Ballenger". This exhibit will provide an opportunity to see and purchase original fine art and craft perfect for holiday gift-giving. All work will be available to purchase and take with you any time during the exhibit, which will open on Friday, November 21 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. during the Seneca Downtown Go 'Round.
A special exhibit of 30 original Currier and Ives lithographs, many in their original frames, will be presented from the collection of City Historian, Louise Bell.
The "Affair" will continue weekly through December 12, Tuesday through Friday 1-5 p.m. and Saturdays 12-3 p.m. A special exhibition day on December 5, from 12-5 p.m., will be in conjunction with the Seenca Holiday Tour of Homes.
